![]() Is it just me or are these figure very high? ![]() When I check Task Manager, I can see that Vegas is using 95% of CPU, and that the process is using almost 1GB of RAM. mpg, or any other files so I know the software is ok. I can even watch the pre-edited files in Sony Motion Picture Browser.īut when I go to render a project, I get as far 45-50%, ((which is taking 3-4 hours to get there on a 30 minute video)) and then the preview screen goes black, the software freezes, and I have to abort, very very frustrating. When i first started using the software editing AVCHD files from the camcorder there was no problems, I was able to make movies, and burn them to DVD using DVD Architect.Īnytime i try to work with AVCHD files, I can edit, add music, titles etc no problem, The preview window works fine. Computer is a ACER Travelmate 5720, with 4GB RAM, and loads of storage space. ![]() I have a Sony HDR-SR11 Camcorder, and am using Vegas Platinum 9.0 for editing. I get the feeling that rendering with Vegas on Vista is a common problem, but I'l explain my own situation and hopefully you can help me.
